A change in insurance

Here is an email I recieved today from a family member:

Hey, I like your blog and comments. I tried to send you a comment on your blog but for somre reason it will not go through. My comment is this: Gary received his paperwork describing what changes will take place with his insurance plan beginning January 2010. (This is thru Lowes). We will no longer be able to choose a pharmacy for filling our prescriptions, we will have to use the order by mail pharmacy through the insurance plan. If we try to buy through a pharmacy then we will be charged double as a penalty and can only be allowed to do this twice before March. After that no choice. They are raising rates almost $150 a month. However, if we decide to drop it, we will be penalized if we try to go to the doctor or hospital. Furthermore, get this, now the IRS has to approve all medications and whether it can be covered by our health plan. Tell me Obama isn't getting his way by taking away our freedoms. We are irritated to no end. I wish we could remove him from office immediately!! Hope you can post this somehow and see if others are going through this also. Lowes employees are making a fuss here in Sikeston. Don't know how far it will go but I hope they cna get some good accomplished. Keep up the good work.

Love,

Linda
